Lovely spot just steps away from the frenzy of Georgetown where you can get a little taste of European cafe life. I like coming here for breakfast before the crowds arrive. It gets packed! Especially if it’s a sunny day and you want to sit on the patio. The pastries are nice. Love the little tea sandwiches.

Loved Kafe Leopold! If you want a euro-experience in the heart of DC then this is the place for you. The food was delicious and the service was great. We can’t remember her name but the waitress from Estonia was very nice! I highly reccomend the schnitzel with the limonberry sauce. I wish they had free refills on the soda but the euro-portions of soda was part of the experience!

If you're looking for a wonderful place to spend a nice day, look no further than Kafe Leopold. This cozy cafe offers a variety of delicious dishes, from entrees and breakfasts to pastries and desserts. Trust me, you won't want to miss their Chocolate Temptation - it's heavenly! The staff at Kafe Leopold are warm and professional, and the service is impeccable. My wife and I had a blast there, and we can't wait to go back the next time we're in DC.

Start with a lovely courtyard patio garden, complete with a trickling relaxing fountain and continue to a very European designed interior that just speaks of relaxing away from all.

The perfect setting to enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch and especially dinner.
Kafe Leopold's menu has a great variety of savory choices from traditional Austrian dishes which include the signature ...Leopold's Schnitzel to Mediterranean Branzino with a Champagne caper emulsion on a bed of wilted citrus spinach or grilled salmon with crushed cucumbers, medjool dates and fennel as well as black truffle and wild mushroom ravioli in a brown butter and sage sauce with crushed walnuts.  Also, don't miss the Steak Frites or watermelon salad with fresh thyme, Maldon salt flakes and French feta!

Our à la carte European wine selection allows our guest to perfectly complement each savory dish.
